Justice Roberts is building a legacy for his court that he won’t much like.

Justice Alito says he won’t recuse himself after flying flags in support of the Jan 6th insurrection. In 2021Justice Sotomayor asked, “Will this institution survive the stench that this creates in public perception that the Constitution and its reading are just political acts?” She continued, “I don’t see how it is possible.” She might be right… Justice here may be blind, but it sure does smell.
