Why the Bust in Blockbusters?

It’s been a rough summer for the movies, not to mention the news, which is not exactly entertainment.

It’s been terrible for summer blockbusters. …Big losses. They’re blaming too many sequels, streaming stuff, fragmented media… I don’t get it, there’s been a lot of drama, intrigue, suspense, chaos, excitement. I’m talking movies, not politics or the White House. OOOH… Never fear, fall is coming, quality, thoughtful, crafted fare. You’re talking movies, not the White House? Yeah, not the White House…
