Is Intelligence Artificial?

Artificial Intelligence is in the news with little agreement on what intelligence actually is. Can intelligence be artificial?

Google’s AlphaGo computer vs. Lee Se-dol playing Go… Score AlphaGo 4 to Se-dol1. Chalk one up for Artificial Intelligence. > But Go is an awfully hard game. It makes my head hurt. I noticed… With chess you have about 20 options per move and with Go you have about 200 options, with millions of outcomes. > Artificial Intelligence is not so intelligent. I play games for fun, if AlphaGo was really intelligent it would choose a different game, something less stressful. > …Not to mention “Artificial Intelligence” is an oxymoron?
