An excess of metaphors, shutdown, demolition, parties, corruption, revenge…  

The longest government shutdown in history… Like we’ve never seen before. Boy Howdy. Dems are still pushing for a health care deal and the GOP House is on a paid vacay… unlike Fed workers… And last weekend the White House celebrated with a Gatsby Halloween Party. You mean the Gatsby of excesses of riches, lust and eventual demise prior to the Great Depression? A rather poor choice of a theme or was he going for a metaphor? It’s not like he read the book.
