The slow boiled frog metaphor seems to be used for everything these days, from the climate to our degrading politics. ??? You’ve heard it. Throw frog in boiling water, and it has the sense to jump out. Heat the frog in water slowly, and he eventually… you know. Science says no, that’s not how it works. It doesn’t just sit there.
