Conspiracy Theories have really run amok. What is the attraction? Do we really prefer the lies?

Conspiracy Theories… Yea, Alex Jones and his “Infowars” got the boot from YouTube, Apple and Facebook. “Infowars”? Rather a war on the info, and facts, and reality, and truth. Then there’s the QAnon conspiracy theory… But a theory is based on basic principles, that is anything but principled. Conspiracy Theories have always been around though… But man, the internet was just made for this stuff. …And it’s a place where those pesky facts don’t seem to slow folks down.
