“Quiet August” used to be a thing. But boy have things changed, like we’ve never seen before changed.

They used to call it “Quiet August”, not a lot of news, money markets and politics slowed down, folks on vacation, Congress on breaks. Things were quiet, but now… we have trade wars, treaty disputes, ruckus rallies, investigations, corruption trials, congressmen charged, tweets, tweets, and more tweets. Splash! Crash! Oooh… Quiet where art thou? MAQA! Make August Quiet Again!
