It has been said, “History is written by the victors.” Is it? How about “…by the truth”?

There is this monuments debate… And the need to fix the erroneous narrative. Well. most of the Confederate statues were put up early in the last century… To rewrite history of the previous century. So, what do you call a rewrite of a rewrite? A right?
